Hospital employee ends life in Kalyanpur

Kanpur:A 25-year-old private hospital employee was found dead near railway tracks in Kalyanpur area of the city on Wednesday morning. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide.
The police said the man, identified as Himanshu Tripathi, basically a resident of Dayal Nagar Shivli in Kanpur Dehat district, was found lying near the railway tracks at Bagiya crossing by few pedestrians who alerted the police control room.
As per the suicide note recovered, he was into affair with a couple of women, who were pressurising him to marry them.
“Himanshu, who originally belonged to Dayal Nagar in Shivli area of Kanpur Dehat district, was residing at a rented accommodation at New Shivli road in Kalyanpur area of the city and worked at a private hospital here,” said the police.
“His severed body was found lying near the railway tracks close to Bagiya crossing. It seems Himanshu committed suicide. Going by the content of the suicide note recovered from his possession, he revealed about his relationship with two women. His family members, however, had alleged the involvement of the family members of the two women behind his death. We are awaiting an autopsy report and are investigating every possible angle to ascertain the actual cause of the man’s death,” said inspector Kalyanpur Janardan Pratap Singh.
