Norway isn't part of the EU, maybe they didn't get the memo. Meanwhile the EU countries like Sweden and the UK have over 10x as many covid deaths per million. I'm sure those EU countries aren't overcounting "covid deaths" by including every old person that dies with a positive PCR test though right?
Average age of "covid deaths' in the UK: 80.4
Average life expectancy UK: 81
Average age of Spanish Flu deaths 100 years ago: 28
There's no such thing as a deadly disease where the average age of deaths is the same as overall life expectancy. For example life-long heavy smokers have a life expectancy about 14 years lower than average. If the average life expectancy for life-long heavy smokers was the exact same as non-smokers it could be said that smoking isn't deadly.
