Michael Strahan Reveals Closing His Tooth Gap Was an April Fool's Day Joke!

Michael Strahan is opening up about closing the gap between his teeth – which turned out to be a prank, after all!

The 49-year-old former football player and TV personality revealed that his announcement that he was closing his tooth gap was just an April Fool’s Day joke in a video posted on Thursday (April 1).

“Hey everybody, it is Michael. What’s up? What’s going on? I know a lot of you are wondering…oh, it’s gotta be an April Fool’s Day joke…he must not have fixed that gap. It’s his signature….I appreciate all the comments,” he said.

“I was surprised at how many people are like ‘no, don’t get of your gap!’” he went on to say.

“I appreciate all the love for the gap. I’ve had it for almost 50 years now. And a lot of people out there would always say ‘you make me feel good about rocking mine,’” he continued.

“I just wanted to tell you guys that I appreciate all that love…do what makes you happy, because I did. And I am happy that I did. So I just wanted to say…April Fool’s. Come on, man!” he exclaimed while revealing his smile.

“The gap is here to stay…not going anywhere anytime soon…my mama likes it, so there you go.”
