
- Lotus FM has welcomed two new personalities to their station, Anasia Govender and Jarryd Subroyen, as part of their 2021 line-up change.
- Making her radio debut, Anasia will host The Morning Masala Show.
- Jarryd Subroyen will be bringing his passion for journalism and research to the fore as he takes on the new role of producer for Walk The Talk.
- Jarryd will also show off his hosting skills on the new show Can't Beat the Classics.
Lotus FM has welcomed two new personalities to their station as part of their 2021 line-up change - Anasia Govender and Jarryd Subroyen.
Anasia, a popular MC, comedian, singer, and former reality star will make her radio debut as she takes over The Morning Masala show on Sundays between 06:00 and 09:00.
Senzo Mthethwa will produce and co-host the show.
"Very exciting is that Anasia will be bringing to the show, her famous alter-ego Annalakshmi, who is an Indian National that has taken refuge in South Africa to escape her monster-in-law," a statement to the press explains.
Jarryd Subroyen will be bringing his passion for journalism and research to the fore as he takes on the new role of producer for Walk The Talk, hosted by Neelofar Sayed, Mondays to Thursdays between 19:00 and 20:00.
"Listeners can look forward to riveting debates and discussions on a range of cutting-edge issues on a revamped and innovative talk format."
Jarryd will also show off his hosting skills on the new show Can't Beat the Classics, Friday evenings between 19:00 and 21:00, where he will be playing hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Romeo Chonco will keep listeners entertained on weekends with a brand-new show called Sundowner, airing on Saturdays between 15:00 and 18:00 and Sundays between 15:00 and 17:00.
EB Mamode will host the Qawali Hour on Sundays from 21:00 to 22:00.
"EB had taken over the show's reins after the sad passing of the previous host, Bhai Azad. EB will continue to enthrall listeners with the best selection of Qawalis," the statement reads.
Traffic guru Rob Byrne will also rejoin Lotus to keep listeners up to date with the latest traffic reports on the morning and afternoon drive shows.
