Now, random testing in Delhi for flyers from Covid spike states

NEW DELHI: People flying to Delhi from states where Covid cases are rising will now be subjected to random testing and those testing positive shall be mandatorily quarantined.
The Delhi Airport on Wednesday tweeted: “As per latest government mandate, District Disaster Management Authorities shall conduct random Covid-19 testing of passengers coming from states where cases are increasing.”

After collection of samples, passengers will be allowed to leave IGI Airport.

“Those found positive shall be mandatorily quarantined as per health ministry protocol,” the airport tweet said.
