Moldava mobile revenues down 6% at nearly MDL 3 bln in 2020

Moldavan mobile telephony revenues decreased by 6.3 percent to over MDL 2.9 billion in 2020, according to statistics published by local telecom authority Anrceti. The total number of users fell by 7.4 percent to over 4.1 million, but voice traffic grew by 6.6 percent to over 6.6 billion minutes. On-net calls increased by 4.5 percent to over 4.8 billion minutes, those made to other mobile networks rose by 18 percent to about 1.4 billion minutes, and calls to fixed networks increased by 10.2 percent to 277.2 million minutes.
