WhatsApp may soon allow users to change colors in the app
Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will enable users to change colors in the app.

The upcoming feature has been shared by WaBetaInfo via a Twitter post. “WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows to change some colors in their app. The feature is under development and there are no further details at the time,” the tweet reads.


The tweet also has screenshots of the upcoming feature. The images show that using the feature, WhatsApp users will be able to change colors in the chat box. They will be able to choose a darker shade of green for the text on the screen.

However, it is yet not known when the feature will be made available. The report says that the new feature is still under development.


Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also testing another feature that will allow one to change audio message playback speed on iOS. As per a report, a user will be able to play audio files in 1.5X or 2X speeds.


This feature is currently said to be in beta phase. It is likely to be rolled out with the WhatsApp version 2.21.60.11.
