IPL 2021: SRH opener Jonny Bairstow reveals his favourite dish, check out

IPL 2021: SRH opener Jonny Bairstow reveals his favourite dish- After a couple of scintillating knocks in the ODI series, Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Jonny Bairstow is all set for the IPL 2021. In a video posted by the SRH franchise, the cricketer recently revealed his favourite dish. He was asked whether he would opt for a Hyderabadi Biryani or an Indian Sweet Dish. When you are in Hyderabad, you cannot miss the popular lip-smacking dish.

Bairstow said that he would prefer Biryani over any sweet dish.

“It is more filling with a little bit of spice. It’s always good fun and obviously playing for Hyderabad at the moment, it’s a speciality dish,” Bairstow said.

The England batsman also described ‘Orange Army [SRH] in one word’. He called it ‘family’ as they are meeting in less than six months.

Bairstow would like to continue his top run in the IPL 2021. He has played 21 matches and scored 790 runs in the tournament. If he fails to deliver then Wriddhiman Saha will take over the duty to open with SRH skipper David Warner.

Bairstow had scored 345 runs (11 matches) in IPL 2020 while Saha had smashed 214 runs in 4 appearances.

Sunrisers Hyderabad players are currently undergoing a mandatory quarantine of 7 days.

As per BCCI’s SOPs for IPL 2021, all players (except for those from the India-England series), support staff, and management entering the bubble need to undergo a seven-day quarantine in their hotel rooms.

Every individual will be tested multiple times during this period, and upon returning the negative results, they will be allowed to come out of their rooms and commence outdoor training and practice sessions.
