Miley Cyrus brought her edgy style out on the town as she ran errands across Beverly Hills, Calif., this week.
Stepping out on Tuesday afternoon, the “Prisoner” musician opted for a bold take on monochrome styling, matching a cutoff black tee to buckle-coated pants with a silky satin finish.

As for footwear, Cyrus tapped into an ongoing shoe trend with her choice of boots. The sleek pair also highlighted a satin coating, all set atop a square toe and a lifted see-through lucite heel that appeared to measure over 4 inches in height.
Square-toe footwear returned to the celebrity scene in 2019 and has continued into this year as one of spring and summer’s biggest trends. Be it a classic boot, a flat slide or a towering stiletto heel, the minimalistic silhouette falls in line with a ’90s-inspired revitalization of fashion, as seen with combat boots and thong-toe shoe styles, as well as pops of neon color across apparel and footwear.

As for Cyrus herself, the singer is no stranger to a stir-causing style moment. While she is best known for her hit albums and box office films, the “Hannah Montana” alumna also dips her toes in the fashion and shoe space. The former Disney Channel star made an appearance on the runway at the Marc Jacobs’ fall ’20 show and has also sat front row at shows for top labels such as Tom Ford and Saint Laurent. She also has worked with Converse on a series of pride-filled shoe collections.
The Converse collaborator has too been vegan for years, leading her to oftentimes embrace wardrobe pieces that are cruelty-free. In fact, at last year’s Met Gala, Cyrus teamed a Saint Laurent minidress with a custom vegan leather version of the brand’s Paige platform sandals. Her other go-to designers for fashion and apparel include any label that can give her look a standout edge — think Versace, Saint Laurent, Alexandre Vauthier and Azalea Wang amongst others.
