CIIC celebrates 2nd foundation day
CHENNAI: Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC) celebrated its second foundation day and 'Demo Day of start-ups' this week, where a live demonstration of CIIC startups technologies & products were showcased.
CIIC is a not-for-profit company under the ambit of BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology in Vandalur and acts as a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) for startups in the areas of life sciences, Industry 4.0, Fintech, 5G, mobility and transportation.

Currently, CIIC supports 20 student startups, 10 faculty startups, 31 external startups and 10 alumni startups. More than 450 people had found employment opportunities through CIIC startups, said a press release from CIIC on Wednesday.
