Mouni Roy turned Naagin for Ekta Kapoor in 2015. What began as short series was turned into a franchise because of the success of the first season. Mouni Roy played Shivanya in 2015's Naagin TV series. She was paired opposite Arjun Bijlani who played Ritik Singh to her Shivanya. Their chemistry on the show was widely appreciated. The actress who is gearing up for her next Bollywood, a biggie, Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Shah Rukh Khan to name a few. Having been a part of the industry for so long, Mouni Roy was recently asked whether she had fought with any of her co-stars while shooting. And pat came the reply of the Made In China actress saying that she fought most with Arjun Bijlani. During an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Mouni Roy said, "Of course I have had! Arjun Bijlani. We have known each other forever and during the entire season of Naagin 1, we used to fight all the time. It was such a high-intensity show. 16-18 hours, nange pao (barefoot) in Film City, climbing trees, getting down, dancing in those pathareela (stoned) floor and all… It was very gruelling, that experience, but then it gave us what it did." Well, it is still unbelievable as they are such great friends now. Mouni and Arjun are thick as thieves and are often seen partying together, hanging out and chilling with their friends. After Naagin, Mouni Roy moved to films. She has kept away from daily soaps and the television industry for a long time and her fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the hottest Naagin back on the small screens. However, Mouni has no plans to return to television. Yes, you read that right. In the same interview, Mouni Roy revealed the reason why she won't ever return to television. She said, "I think it is very time-consuming and my health deteriorates." That's sadly true. Long working hours can affect healthy badly. However, be glad that she will be sizzling on the big screens more often now. Talking about the Naagin franchise, Mouni Roy featured in the first two seasons. In the second season she was born as Shivangi, Shivanya's daughter and was paired opposite Karanvir Bohra. The third season of Naagin featured Surbhi Jyoti as Bela and Pearl V Puri as Maahir. Naagin 4 featured Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria while Naagin 5 featured Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra in the lead.
