South Korean regulator to refer Apple Korea to prosecution for hindering investigation

South Korea's corporate watchdog Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) has decided to refer the local unit of US tech giant Apple and one of its executives to the prosecution for impeding the regulator's probe into unfair business practices, Yonhap news agency reports. The regulator also said it plans to fine Apple Korea KRW 300 million (approximately USD 265,000) for hampering the watchdog's related investigation.
