CHENNAI: Refusing to pass any directions on a plea seeking to disqualify DMK’s Thangam Thennarasu from contesting in Tiruchuli for allegedly distributing gifts to voters, the Madras High Court directed the petitioner to approach the ECI. The court added that the ECI is the sole authority to decide on the issue.
