LIVE market updates: The Indian benchmark indices traded nearly one per cent higher in Tuesday's early deals as investors returned to their trading terminals after three days.
Among the headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex gained 500 points at 49,510 levels and the Nifty50 index reclaimed the 14,650-mark. Hindustan Unilever, Titan, Dr Reddy's, ONGC, and NTPC gained 2 per cent, each, and were the top Sensex gainers.
Majority of the Nifty sectoral indices were painted green, with the Nifty Metal index, up 2.8 per cent, leading the gainers.

New listing
Nazara Technologies shares are set to be listed on the stock exchanges today. The issue was subscribed 175.46 times, with the retail portion subscribed 75.29 times, non-institutional investors' portion subscribed 389.89 times and qualified institutional buyers segment attracted 103.77 subscription.
