A carelessness of family in Holi killed a girl. It was such a death that the girl died in the house and people came to know when the corpse was visible in the tub. This incident happened on Monday at Bakhtiyarpur in Patna.
One-and-a-half-year-old baby girl died after drowning in a tub filled with water on the day of Holi. The deceased has been identified as Aruhi, daughter of Tunni Chaudhary, a resident of Mohalla at Sangat. Family members said that all the people were busy playing with colors. Water was kept in a plastic tub in the courtyard for the housework. No one came to know when Aruhi went out of the house into the courtyard. Everyone was busy playing at home. Due to Holi, the women of the house were also engaged in work.
Meanwhile, a member of the house got an eye on the tub. When he passed, he saw that Aaruhi was immersed in water. He shouted and invited the family members there. In a hurry, the relatives drained the girl from the water and took her to the Primary Health Center, but by then she had lost her life. The doctors declared her dead.
After this incident, the celebration of Holi in Aruhi`s house turned into a mourning completely.
