DACH interest groups seek access to 5G radio broadcasting - report

The private radio broadcasters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are seeking access to 5G technology to transmit audio broadcasts via the new standard, Infodigital reports. The commercial broadcasters' association Vaunet, and ARP, the lobby group for private radio, local and regional TV from Germany, the Austrian Association of Private Broadcasters (VOEP) and the Association of Swiss Private Radios (VSP) have signed a joint position paper calling for access to 5G broadcasting.
