Hyderabad: The officers of the vigilance of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Tuesday filed criminal cases against three persons who have illegal water connections and also the outsourcing staff who support them.
In Mailardevpalli and IDPL, homeowners illegally obtained water connection with the help of outsourcing of workers. During the inspection, vigilance officers discussed matters with these outsourcing personnel in accordance with IPC Article 269, 430 in respective police stations.
Officials have warned that cases will be discussed against those trying to have a water connection without permission from the water board.
