Mah: Aurangabad reports 1,116 new cases, 43 deaths

Aurangabad, Mar 30(UNI)Aurangabad district on Tuesday set a new record of the highest number of deaths due to COVID-19 with the district reporting 43 deaths during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll up to 1651, officials said.
While, 1,116 fresh cases of COVID-19 were also reported across Aurangabad district during the same period raising the caseload to 81,137,they said.
At the same time 1,511 patients were also cured and discharged, taking the number of recoveries to 64,218, they further said.
At present, there are 15,268 active cases in Aurangabad district who are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and Covid Care Centres, they added.
