I live in Philly, which is largely a ghetto.
However, I live in a Russian section and it is nice. There's black and Hispanic people here but they moved here for a reason, and so they are very pleasant.
My point is that cities are big and there's nice parts everywhere. I like mellow areas and figured out where one was at with cheaper rent, etc.
What good about a city is:
My gym is minutes away, next to a supermarket, restaurants, Walmart, Target, my bank, a drug store, and so on.
I could walk to any of these places if I wanted to, but in the car, it's seconds away.
I grew up in a very rural area and it was a massive event to buy eggs, and that was BULLSH!T I hated with a passion.
When I was a kid it took two hours to walk to a library. If you want to ask me a question:

That's a good point.
As a kid there was one hospital 20 miles away, through a mountain.
Another issue was that we could not get cable and electrical line were above ground, so a storm hits and the lights are out---over and over---and over!
I hate the country with great passion.
People living in Philly ghettos literally have it WAY better insofar as infrastructure and access to things.
I've had criminals tell me they had no access to education or jobs then I explained where I grew up.If you want to ask me a question:

Live in Chicago. Within 2 blocks of me is my gym, my supermarket, 3 pharmacies, about 15-20 restaurants/bars (american, pizza, chinese, mexican, thai, you ****ing name it). Doctor, dentist all within walking distance. Beach within walking distance.
Tons of women. You log into tinder and have the pick of the litter. get a date at one of the many nearby bars, proceed to smashing with relative ease.
The train I take is 5 minutes away. Comes every 7 minutes and gets me to work in 20 minutes. After work, there is an endless amount of cool bars for coworkers and I to get smashed at. Again, endless women and food opportunities.

My sister lives in a very rural area. Her internet service is 0.8 Mbps down. She's looking at alternatives like StarLink. She also had to install a whole home generator because her power goes out often and sometimes for days at a time. City infrastructure is far better than remote rural infrastructure IMO.
