Abhishek Bachchan shares an unseen pic with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as he wishes fans on Holi; Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D'Souza celebrate safe Holi at home

As people across the world celebrate a safer, more intimate Holi this time owing to the coronavirus pandemic, celebrities have been taking to Twitter urging fans to stay safe. Actor Abhishek Bachchan also wished his fans while urging them to be safe. His caption read, 'A throwback to safer and more carefree times. Happy Holi everyone. Please celebrate this most beautiful festival but from the safety of your homes. The number of Covid-19 cases are on the rise and we have to remain disciplined. Stay home, eat gujjias, take the blessings of your parents and take care of your family. #MyGirls.' While his message was much appreciated, people were completely drawn to the picture he accompanied the message with. In the throwback click, only Abhishek's face is visible in the picture as Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya are seen sitting on the grass looking at him. Both Abhishek and Aishwarya can be seen dressed in white with Holi colours smeared all over them. Fan also wished their family a happy Holi. His father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan had also extended Holi greetings to his fans with a throwback picture featuring wife Jaya and little Abhishek. In the caption, he penned the lyrics of the song 'Rang Barse' from his film 'Silsila'. While many celebrities shared old memories on Holi, some shared new ones. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza celebrated the festival in the cutest way possible. Genelia posted an adorable video from their Holi celebrations wherein they can be seen celebrating the festival of colours with each other. Hubby Riteish applied gulaal on his wife’s face while she was busy throwing flowers on him. Genelia stressed the importance of following COVID-19 guidelines while celebrating the festival. Her caption read, 'Find your own way to make festivals special (following all Covid restrictions)- even if it’s small and intimate, it’s the spirit that counts. Happy Holi.' Riteish also shared a cute family video.
