On the most recent episode talking about Kurt's rookie year in the WWE:

-he said his downside guarantee for $ was only 75k, but he ended up making over $1 million his first year
-was paid 75k for his Summerslam match
-first thing he bought after his first big payoff was a car for his mom
-after getting his Wrestlemania payout--he gave each of his 5 siblings and his mother 10k
-he didn't drink at all or do pills his whole rookie year
-Ryno, Edge, and Christian were his traveling buddies on the road.

Really fascinating stuff IMO. Seems like a good guy. Glad he seems to have overcame a lot now. He also said that he eventually needs another major neck surgery though.

I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt. Nice guy, sure, but he constantly plays around with the truth; probably even more than most wrestlers (who are all carnies at their core).
