    my director tone changed after some one complained about me. what do? reps

    product management side of things. I am a contractor--I meet with my director once a month, last month he was saying he would like to convert me to full time and he was going to talk to his boss about it and let me know. During the month one person complained that I was not giving enough attention to one of the teams ( i manage two teams) behind my back to my boss.

    Fast forward today, my director's tone has changed completely while talking to me. Hes usally very upbeat and happy when talking to me, now hes cold af. It was a fast call I had like under 5 minutes he usually talks with me for a while. HE did not bring up the full time conversation. have a feeling its cuz that one girl who complained about me.

    Should i start looking for a new job srs? companies are ruthless with contractors so idk if i am going to get blindsided by this and they axe me. although he did not bring up any issues or complaints he did say that my boss thinks I am doing a good job. So I am confused?

    I am not sure how severe it is. My higher-up informed me (hes like my brah) he just said someone said I am not "dedicating enough time" for one of the teams.     I think you’re looking to far into it. Work to address the issues brought up and roll on. In the mean time, you’re never going to hurt yourself looking for something better.

    I was never copied on the email, it's just one brah who i am close with told me that my project manager complained that i am dedicating enough time for her team.
