Philadelphia Police Identify 11-Year-Old Child Shot, Killed While Riding Scooter In Oxford Circle Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia Police have launched the title of the 11-year-old child who was shot and killed in Oxford Circle on Friday night time. Harley Belance was a fifth grader at Gilbert Spruance Elementary School.

Police say Harley was using a motorized scooter with a 14-year-old good friend on the 1500 block of McKinley Street on Friday night time when he was shot within the neck and killed.

Investigators are nonetheless in search of the suspect who they are saying shot on the kids from the sidewalk round 7 p.m. Friday after which ray away.

The title of the 14-year-old has not but been launched. He was shot a number of occasions and stays in secure situation.

“Scared. I used to ride bikes, but when I moved here, I just stopped riding bikes,” Santiago mentioned.

No arrests have been made.
