Hyderabad: Two people were injured after two trucks collided, allegedly due to the reckless driving of a two-rider, on Monday near the Himayat Sagar toll gate in Rajendranagar on the outskirts of the city.
Cyberabad traffic police, who shared a video of the crash on their official Twitter handle, sought awareness about road safety and showed how the crash happened. According to Cyberabad police, the incident occurred when Tirupati, the driver of one of the trucks coming from Rajendranagar in the direction of the Himayat Sagar Outer Ring Road, suddenly had to swerve to prevent him from riding on the two-wheeler. road from a sidewalk, without waiting for the truck to pass. The truck, which managed not to hit the bike, swerved into the opposite lane and collided with another truck coming into the opposite lane. The driver and cleaner of the second truck were injured in the crash, police said.
The injured persons were identified as V. Venkataramulu and Shiva, with the condition of Shiva criticized.
