They do not require to undergo a mandatory 7-day quarantine at the team hotel. “Mo is een with his on-the-field kin, namma,” wrote CSK in a tweet post.
As per BCCI’s SOPs for IPL 2021, all players (except for those from the India-England series), support staff, and management entering the bubble need to undergo a seven-day quarantine in their hotel rooms.

Every individual will be tested multiple times during this period, and upon returning the negative results, they will be allowed to come out of their rooms and commence outdoor training and practice sessions.

While Moeen Ali was bought for Rs 7 crore by CSK, Sam Curran had joined the IPL franchise last year. The two players were in Pune for the ODI series that concluded on Sunday. Sam Curran smashed unbeaten 95 runs and showed a fighting spirit in the nail-biter, something which CSK needs from him on a consistent basis in the IPL 2021.
CSK will play against DC in their opening clash at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 10.
