When Guptill departed on 35, Bangladesh saw another big partnership as Conway and Will Young put up a 105-run 3rd wicket stand from just 60 deliveries. Young on his T20I debut brought up a half-century before being dismissed by Mehedi Hasan in the 17th over.
But Conway got going with yet another half-century in the series. The left-hander has responded to the IPL 2021 Auction snub with a century and a half-century in the ODI series besides an unbeaten 99 against Australia in the T20Is. His rich vein of form continued on Sunday as Conway scored 92 off 52 balls in the 1st T20I against Bangladesh.
