Mar. 28—Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting that wounded a woman late Saturday outside a South Side night club.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, was in stable condition and taken to a local hospital by private means, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

Police responded just after 11 p.m. to a report of shots fired outside Controversy, in the 1600 block of West Carson Street.

A vehicle also was struck by gunfire, and officers found shell casings in the parking lot.

City detectives are continuing to investigate. Further details weren't immediately available.
