Hyderabad: With a target of 1,900 million euros and three more days to achieve it, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)’s collection tax until Sunday amounted to 1,433.28 million. Jubilee Hills with Rs 163 core was at the top of the circular graph of property tax collections.
According to the tax collection data provided by the civilian body, 11.84 property owners paid the tax by Sunday.
In terms of circular tax collection, Jubilee Hills was followed by Serilingampally with 155 million RC and Khairatabad with 140 million.
GHMC officials have urged property owners to lift the levies to avoid fines. The property owners who have yet to make the payment can pay the tax at all municipal circle offices, civic service centers, via online modes, e-Seva centers, and also to pay collectors by 31 March. From April 1, a fine was imposed.
