Swatchbook has partnered with SampLess, a new digital centre located in Portugal at the heart of the Textile Cluster to be the first official Swatchbook service centre located in Europe. Swatchbook focuses on the development of software applications that help integrate the creative community within an organisation into the product development process.

SampLess will help both local suppliers and brands in the footwear and apparel with their material digitisation as well as act as a reseller of Swatchbook’s material management and sourcing platform to help facilitate the communication and collaboration in the supply chain during the pandemic and beyond, Swatchbook said.

As the pandemic continues to have a tight grip on most of the world’s daily life and business interactions, more and more fashion companies are looking at optimising their processes and supply chain. Material digitisation and bringing suppliers and brands together is an integral part in this transformation process. SampLess, founded and led by Paulo Salgado, combines a team of 3D experts from both the fashion as well as the industrial world to help companies and their supply chain to become ‘digital-ready’ for the future, Swatchbook said in a press release.

The new addition of becoming a Swatchbook service centre is a necessary extension to help make the entire creative and product development process digital. Equipped with the latest hardware and software tools from Vizoo, as well as other 2D and 3D software solutions, SampLess is ready for business today.

“When I saw Swatchbook for the first time I knew that it would change the industry. It’s the most complete and advanced solution in the market and can be easily integrated in the industry creation process. We feel that Swatchbook is the perfect addition to our services and expertise in 3D, and will help our customers in their digital transformation. We are excited to be part of this journey,” Paulo Salgado, founder and managing director of SampLess said in a statement.

“As Swatchbook sees significant interest and adoption in the European market it was important for us to be able to serve companies locally. In particular, the world of material digitisation is still new to many, and has to be done right in order to become an integral part of the digital supply chain. With Paulo and the team at SampLess we found a partner who fully shares our vision and understands what is needed in order to make both brands and suppliers successful. This is a big step for Swatchbook, but more importantly a true win for the industry,” Yazan Malkosh, founder and CEO of Swatchbook said.
