Padmini Kolhapure revealed that she had rejected films that went on to her fellow contemporaries like Sridevi, Rati Agnihotri, Rekha to name a few. While she did not regret losing out on those offers, the actress revealed that she regrets one such film that she did not do. We are talking about the Rajiv Kapoor and Mandakini starrer Ram Teri Ganga Maili directed by Raj Kapoor. The film was a huge success at the box office. In an interview, Padmini Kohlapure revealed that she was skeptical due to a kissing scene with Rajiv Kapoor which is why she turned down the offer. The actress revealed that Raj Kapoor was ready to replace even after shooting for 45 days with Mandakini. "I was offered Rati Agnihotri's role in Ek Duuje Ke Liye, Rekha's role in Silsila, and Sridevi's role in Tohfa, but I couldn't do them for some reason or the other. You can't grab every film that comes your way, If a film does well to the magnitude that RTGM did, you do feel that you should have been a part of it. RTGM did astoundingly well, Mandakini did a good job, the songs were beautiful. But then, Rajji knew my inhibitions. He exactly knew why I wasn't doing it," the actress said, reports Hindustan Times. The actress revealed that she was okay with the breastfeeding scene as it was the demand of the script. However, she had her reservations about kissing on-screen. She said that it was nothing to do with Rajiv Kapoor though. "But yet, Raj ji asked me to reconsider it even after he'd completed a 45-day schedule with Mandakini and others," the actress added.
