Percy Tau will start for Bafana Bafana in their crucial African Cup of Nations Group C clash against Sudan on Sunday.
Tau, who scored in the 1-1 draw against Ghana on Thursday took a knock in that encounter but will take his place in the team named by coach Molefi Ntseki.
South Africa need to secure a win or a draw in the match to go through to the 2022 Afcon finals in Cameroon.
Ntseki was expecting a touch match although South Africa had beaten Sudan earlier in the qualifiers.
"We expect a tough match on Sunday being the last match of the group and the last match of the qualifiers. Every player, every country and every coach expects to do well in such matches,’’ said Ntseki.
"Either way, we can play to win or for a draw; we will make use of any option available to us as long as we go on and qualify for AFCON, that is the important thing," said Nteski.
