IPL 2021: Chennai Super King’s ‘funny game show’ starts, Ruturaj Gaikwad leader of the fun gang: The young batting sensation of Chennai Super Kings, Ruturaj Gaikwad is having some fun time with his teammates ahead of IPL 2021. In a video posted by CSK on its official Twitter handle, Ruturaj Gaikwad can be seen trying his hands at different games to have some light moments while strictly adhering to the bio-bubble measures. Apart from Cricket, it seemed like Gaikwad is good enough in rapping, striking the carrom board, playing virtual AI games to name a few. Check out the video.

After a stellar show in the domestic season for Maharashtra, Ruturaj Gaikwad earned his spot in IPL in 2020 when Dhoni’s Chennai roped him for his services at a mere Rs.20 lakhs. To his luck, he even got a chance to play in IPL 2020 and emerged out as one of the revelations of IPL 2020 after playing a handful of just 6 matches. In the 6 matches he played, he scored 204 runs at an average of 51 and impressed everyone so much that CSK decided to hold him back in its squad for IPL 2021.

It is expected that in IPL 2021, Ruturaj Gaikwad will get an elongated run and will be a key player in CSK’s roster.
IPL 2021: Chennai Super Kings training camp
“Thalla’s” yellow army, CSK was the first team to kick-off with the preparations and training camp ahead of IPL 2021. Along with MS Dhoni, other players joined the camp gradually from 9th March. CSK who will be playing its first match of IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals on 10th April in Mumbai, has shifted its training base from Chennai to Mumbai.
With a revamp of the side and return of some big guns to the squad like- Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, and others, it will be a big boost to Dhoni’s battalion.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after a forgettable show in IPL 2020 will look to make amends in IPL 2021 and come back stronger.
