There are those who add cereal before the milk in their bowls and then there are others who eat a subway horizontally. Twitter is having a hard time digesting the image of a foot-long sandwich that was eaten along its length, and even you would feel the same way if you take a look at it.
The unsettling image was shared on the microblogging site earlier this week by user @normalguycaruso. In the image, we see a foot-long sandwich that was eaten in a very unique way, across its length, exposing its filling along its entire length. It looked like a usual ham and cheese sandwich from the Subway. Captioning the image,@normalguycaruso wrote that they ate their half sandwich and would probably save the other half for later.
The tweet has been liked by over 296.8k users, and retweeted over 34k times since it was shared. In a follow up tweet, @normalguycaruso wrote that they saved the half sandwich in the fridge overnight and are waiting to work up a proper appetite so they can finish it off. He also mentioned that he is single, as a side update.

Netizens have commented with their confused reactions, while some declared it a ‘no’, straight up. The tweet went so viral that even Subway took notice of it and commented in a probing way, “no seriously what is this.”

Replying to Subway, @normalguycaruso wrote, “Yo Subway your subs tastes like sh*t compared to Quiznos can I get a refund?” Whileanother user commented on the post saying that even Subway is declaring that he is banned from the sub shops.

The image affected a user so much that he/she commented to use it for mentally torturing the friends. While the image apparently hurt one user’s “soul” the more they looked at it. For one user, even though the image was not illegal, he felt that it should be considered as one. Another agitated user wrote to Twitter, how dare they brought the image on their timeline.
This isn’t illegal, but it sure as fuck feels like it should be— Kevo (@Kevin_AP7) March 24, 2021
So, what is your way of gobbling down a sandwich?
