New Delhi: Copper prices on Friday rose 0.75 percent to Rs 667.15 per kg in futures trade on a pick-up in spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery traded higher by Rs 4.95, or 0.75 percent, to Rs 667.15 per kg in a business turnover of 3,027 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to an increase in bets by participants, driven by a pick-up in spot demand.
