All of us are cheerful: Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan says it will be difficult for him to evaluate the kind of person he is, given how mixed it is with the characters he has played. As an example of his latest film The Big Bull, Bachchan, who was known for his roles in films such as Bunty Aur Babli, Yuva, Guru, Bluffmaster and Dhoom, told him it does not matter if he likes his role or not .

Asked if he wants to look at reliability in his roles, Bachchan said: ‘It’s very difficult to tell an actor, because who we really are, get lost because we’re playing so many characters, you get not the time to sit down and evaluate what kind of person you actually are. ”

The 45-year-old actor said he identifies with the aspiring nature of the character in the film, which maps the rise and fall of a stockbroker with dreams of becoming the richest man in India. ‘All of us are very aspiring in life, we want to achieve, we want to realize our dreams and Hemant Shah (his role) is no different. His determination, his determination to achieve what he wants to achieve, is unique to him. I do not think it matters whether I am like that or not. “I think it is important that I am convinced that Hemant should be like that,” he added.

Directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn and inspired by events from the late 80’s and early 90’s that rocked the country’s financial sector.

The actor said Gulati and Arjun Dhawan, who wrote the film, peppered the screenplay with a lot of realism in ‘how a person would handle’ a journey that starts from a small shawl in Mumbai and leads him to one of the largest high rises in the city.

‘Hemant Shah is a character with stars in his eyes, he has big dreams for himself and how he is very determined and focused on how to achieve them. But he has his faults and that is something I found interesting, “he added.

There were reports that the film was inspired by the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who is notorious for his role in the 1992 security fraud. But Bachchan said his Hemant Shah is fictional in that the team draws inspiration from certain incidents and real-life people. “To say that he is based on one specific person, I think would be wrong,” he said.

The funniest aspect of the filming of the movie for Bachchan was to indulge in the nostalgia from the 80s and 90s as The Big Bull takes place in that era. ‘The thing I was most excited about was that I had to drink Gold Spot again. It was my favorite drink as a kid and I was so happy that they were able to get Gold Spot. I was also excited to travel in those cars and dress in that style. It was nice as the era was recreated, “said Bachchan.
