NATIONAL SUMMARY
A far-reaching storm system will bring rain and
thunderstorms from the Northeast to the Gulf Coast tomorrow.
Thunderstorms from Delaware to northern Louisiana will bring
strong winds and even the chance of an isolated tornado.
The thunderstorm threat will continue into the overnight
hours across the Carolinas and eastern portions of Virginia.
This large storm will bring breezy conditions for most of
the eastern half of the country. The strongest winds will be
across the Northeast and they will continue overnight. The
center of the country will have lots of sunshine as high
pressure begins to build over the area. The Southwest will
be warm and sunny. Portions of California will have its
highest temperatures in months as some record highs will be
challenged.
