Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now approved two proposals. Under this, now the Department of Industries of the Government of Rajasthan will be renamed as the Department of Industries and Commerce. CM Gehlot has approved a proposal in this regard. In addition, the designations of officers of this department will also be changed to correspond to the new name of the department.
It is noteworthy that during the last few years, the functioning of the Department of Industries and the District Industries Centers connected with it has changed and the scope of work of the Department has also increased. Along with the development of small, micro, medium, and large enterprises, the development of service sector and commercial sector activities have also become involved in the activities and activities of this department.
In 18 states including the Government of India, the name of the department concerned is only the Department of Industry and Commerce. In this sequence, the state government has decided to change the name of the department.
As per the proposal approved by Ashok Gehlot, along with the change of name of the department, the name of the Principal Government Secretary, Industry MSME will be changed to the name of Principal Government Secretary, Industry MSME, and Commerce, and Commissioner Industry will be changed to Commissioner Industry and Commerce.
Similarly, the new names of the posts of Joint Commissioner Industries, Deputy Commissioners Industries, and Assistant Commissioners Industries will become Joint Commissioners Industries and Commerce, Deputy Commissioners Industries and Commerce, and Assistant Commissioners Industries and Commerce respectively.
