M'rashtra records over 35k COVID-19 cases

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 35,726 fresh cases of corona positive mounting the positive toll of infections in the state to 26,73,461, Health Department said.
While 166 more deaths were also reported taking the death toll to 54,073.
Meanwhile, a total of 14,523 patients recovered and were discharged taking the total number of recoveries to 23,14,579 across the state.
The state government has so far tested 1,91,92,750 samples for the disease.
With this, the recovery rates sharply goes down and stand at 86.58 per cent and the fatality rate is 2.02 per cent.
At present 3,03,475 active patients across the state were undergoing treatment at different Covid centres and hospitals, they added.

It may be noted that Maharashtra state one of the worst affected state across the country where the second wave of corona spread out resulting in positive cases increasing significantly each and every day.
