Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Maharashtra government on Saturday announced to extend the restrictions imposed in the state till April 15 due to the rapidly rising number of COVID-19 cases.
The state will have to abide by all the restrictions imposed earlier till April 15. Similarly, all orders like wearing a mask, keeping social distance, etc. have to be obeyed.
The office will be allowed to work with all the restrictions previously imposed.
Local administrations will decide to declare containment zones.
The curfew has been imposed for more than five people from 2000 to 0700 hours from March 27, 2021 and will remain in force till April 15. Violators will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000, officials said.
Other restrictions include public parks and beaches closed from 2000 to 0700 hours. Social, cultural, political and religious events will not be allowed till April 15.
There will also be restrictions on the use of halls and rooms for such gatherings.
A maximum of 50 people will be present at the wedding and 20 people will be allowed to attend the funeral till April 15.
All private offices will operate with 50 per cent attendance in compliance with all health-related regulations.
Those who do not wear masks will not be allowed in such places.
So a thermometer to measure body temperature and a sanitiser for public use will have to be arranged.
All single screen and multiplex cinemas, malls, auditoriums, restaurants from 2000 to 0700 hours will remain closed until.
However, take-home delivery will continue during this time. In case of any violation, the cinema halls, malls, restaurants and hotels will be closed till the time of Covid-19.
The concerned establishment will also be fined, they added.
