The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 6.6%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.7%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 4.0%). Other gainers include TITAN (up 3.5%) and HUL (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,573 (up 1.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA STEEL (up 6.2%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.5%) and TATA MOTORS (up 4.3%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 4.0%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 3.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 26,674 to 49,235, registering a gain of 22,561 points (up 83.98%).
JSW ENERGY net profit down at Rs 891 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 8.0% to Rs 17.9 billion during the period as against Rs 19.5 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, JSW ENERGY reported 10.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 5.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.2 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 2.6% to Rs 80 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of JSW ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.0x.
