Bihar Board BSEB 12th Result 2021 Live Updates: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results of intermediate or class 12 arts, science, commerce examinations today. The result is now available at the official website- iharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.

Nearly 13.50 lakh students appeared for the intermediate exam that was concluded on February 13. The students need to obtain a minimum of 30 per cent marks to pass the exam.

The students can check the results through the website- biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Click the ‘result link’ available on the homepage. In the new window, enter registration and roll number. Results will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out for further reference.

Bihar Board (BSEB) chairman Anand Kishor has been conferred with the outstanding educational leader award by the Jagran Josh Education Awards 2021. He was awarded for his exemplary contribution to education especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The state education minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary will announce the intermediate result today at 3 pm in presence of Chief Secretary of the Education Department Sanjay Kumar, and board chairman Anand Kishore.

Inter exam result of last year 

A total of 12,04,834 students appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination last year out of which 6,56,301 boys and 5,48,533 were girls. Furthermore, a total of 4,43,284 students have passed in the first class, 4,69,439 students in the second class and 56,115 students in the third class.

Change in exam pattern

The Bihar Board has shifted towards having 50 per cent objective type questions in the exam. The move has been introduced to assess students on their conceptual clarity but this has also resulted in a faster result and higher pass percentage. Further, more than 20 per cent internal choice is also given to the students.

Bihar Board grace marks policy

In case a student fails in one subject only by not more than 8 per cent marks or in two subjects by not more than 4 per cent marks in each, he/she will be given the marks he/she is short of. If someone has obtained 75 per cent marks in aggregate but has failed in one subject only by not more then 10 per cent marks and cannot be allowed to pass under any other regulation, will be declared to have passed

New marking scheme

From this year, the 50-mark language papers have been converted to one 100-marks exam. The number of additional subjects has also increased. In line with CBSE, students have the option to select six subjects and the best of five will be calculated. Students have the option to chose an elective subject. In case a student fails in one of the major subjects, the marks of the elective subject will be counted

Candidates appeared in inter exam 

Nearly 13.50 lakh students appeared in the intermediate, class 12 exams held from February 1 to 13. The exam was held in two sessions, morning from  9:30 am to 12:45 pm and afternoon from 1:45 pm to 5 pm

Bihar Board inter result today 

The result of Bihar Board (BSEB) intermediate class 12 exam will be announced on March 26. The board in its communique mentioned that the state education minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary will release the class 12 result today at 3 pm.

BSEB Inter 12th Result 2021 LIVE: In order to pass the intermediate exam, a candidate must obtain 30 per cent of the total marks in the theory portion of each subject and 40 per cent of the total marks in the practical of each subject. To achieve the first division, a student has to score 300 marks while for the second division, it is 225.
