Four states and a union territory are going to polls this time from March 27 to April 29

Assembly elections are being held in four states and a union territory from March 27 to April 29. Votes will be counted on May 2.

West Bengal: Elections will be held in 8 phases to 294 assembly seats . The polling dates are March 27, April 1, April 6, April 10, April 17 , April 22, April 26 and April 29.

Tamil Nadu: Elections will be held in a single phase to all the 234 assembly seats. The polling date is April 6.

Kerala: Elections will be held in a single phase to all the 140 assembly seats. The polling date is April 6.

Assam: Elections will be held in 3 phases to assembly 126 seats. The polling dates are March 27, April 1 and April 6.

Puducherry: Elections will be held to the 30 assembly seats in this union territory on April 6.
