Hyderabad: To commemorate 75 years of India’s independence, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) on Friday launched ‘Azadi ka Amrut’ Mahotsav. The week-long celebrations are held until April 1 at all units of the company.
The celebrations began with a freedom march on RSI, Secunderabad in which war veterans and serving officers of the army participated along with senior managers of BDL. The serving officers included Major General RK Singh, Commandant-General, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area.
On the occasion, BDL CMD Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd) said that the Mahotsav will provide the opportunity to cherish the special moments of India’s freedom struggle while at the same time remembering the innumerable sacrifices of the great sons of the motherland. “We are proud that, on the one hand, India has provided vaccination surveys to the world to combat the coronavirus and on the other hand, the country offers missiles and torpedoes for export abroad, ”he said.
During the celebration of the week, BDL planned to organize webinars on trafficking for traders, awareness programs on industrial safety and hazardous processes, special drivers for registration of entrepreneurs for MSME and SC / ST entrepreneurs, to name a few.
