To have a career abroad, the prize has: Nimrat Kaur

Mumbai: Actress Nimrat Kaur, who has been part of international projects such as ‘Homeland’ and ‘Wayward Pines’, says that due to India’s involvement outside Bollywood she does not have many films to choose from.

However, the actress adds that she has never had to remind anyone of who she is.

‘I’m not in circulation because I would like to be regular. I may not choose from a wide range of parts that I would otherwise have had. But it has never been the case that I have to remind people of who I am, ”Nimrat told IANS.

She adds that she may not be offered the kind of roles she wants, but that’s the ‘price’ she has to pay for a career abroad.

‘They may not offer me exactly what I’m looking for, but it’s a part of life. I have a career abroad and here. It comes at a price, ‘she says.

Regarding the kind of work she wants to do, Nimrat says: ‘I can not think of a genre that I will not try, even if I fail at it. I am looking for all kinds of work. The more you do, the more you want. It’s a bottomless pit where you can keep playing different people. ”
