WWE Signs a new deal with Virgin Media Television of Ireland: For the first time in Ireland, the best of Raw and SmackDown can be seen on open television.
For the first time in its history, Ireland will have the opportunity to see the best of WWE on open television. The company announced through a press release, a new partnership with Virgin Media Television.
The announcement assures that: “Starting on March 27, Virgin Media Two will broadcast on Saturdays at 10:30 am one hour with the best of SmackDown and on Sundays at the same time, RAW. The weekly programming will air 52 weeks at year wowing fans with a combination of drama, world-class athletics and action from the comfort of their seats. ”
WWE Vice President and General Manager for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa Andy Warkman stated: “We are very pleased to bring our flagship programming to broadcast television for the first time in Ireland with Virgin Media Television. This new partnership is a momentous step for the WWE brand. and this is excellent news for our passionate fan base in Ireland. ”
