NEW DELHI: Silver futures on Thursday dropped Rs 571 to Rs 64,674 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery tumbled by Rs 571, or 0.88 per cent, to Rs 64,674 per kg in a business turnover of 11,798 lots.

Silver traded lower by 1.07 per cent at USD 24.96 per ounce in New York.
