Aerial operations to lift passengers caught in limbo b/w Ladakh & J&K on Friday:Govt source

Srinagar, Mar 25 (UNI) Five sorties of C 130 and one AN32 will operate on Friday to airlift passengers stranded between Ladakh region and Jammu and Kashmir.
Chief coordinator AN 32 Kargil courier service Aamir Ali said on Thursday on Friday two sorties each of C130 aircraft are planned between Jammu-Leh and Srinagar-Leh.
He said in addition to this, one sortie each of AN32 Kargil Courier is planned between Kargil-Srinagar and also Kargil-Jammu tomorrow.
Hundreds of passengers were airlifted between different parts of the Ladakh region and to Jammu and Srinagar.
Air sorties are being operated in view of the closure of the national highway, linking the Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh with Kashmir since January Ist, 2021.
