Workshop on Skilling for Employment at Lilong

In appreciation of the achievements of the present Government during the last 4 years, Lilong Haoreibi College under the aegis of the District Skill Committee and District Transport Office, Thoubal jointly organized a 1-day workshop cum sensitization programme on Road Safety Rules and Skilling for Employment or Rozgar Divas on 10th March 2021 at the College Multipurpose Hall.

The function was presided by the Principal of the College Dr. Raheijuddin Sheikh, the ADC of Thoubal District, Polem Lenin Singh attended as the Chief Guest and Moulana Ataur Rahman, Central Manager of PMMKVY Thoubal and Convener of the District Skill Development Committee as the guest of Honor.

District Skill committee member Md. Abdul Khalique presented on the facilities available at the Thoubal District Skill Centre and DTO, Thoubal presented on the Traffic Rules and Motor Vehicle Act 2019. Later, oath of taking office of the newly elected members of the Lilong Haoreibi College Students Union was also administered by the guest of Honour Moualana Ataur Rahman.

In the series of activities taken up by the Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal, Lilong Haoreibi College shall also conduct Cleanliness Drive on 11th March 2021 to be organized by the NSS, NCC, and Youth Red Cross Units of the Lilong Haoreibi College.

Students shall assemble at the campus at 10 a.m. and emphasis shall be given on collection of single use plastics and awareness on the ban of single use plastics.
