Did Congress leader Feroz Khan join BJP?

Hyderabad: Feroz Khan, who contested the Hyderabad parliamentary election against Asaduddin Owaisi on the congressional ticket, reportedly joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, he joined the saffron party in Delhi on Wednesday in the presence of Bandi Sanjay, president of Telangana BJP.

Months ago there were rumors that the leader would join the saffron party. At that point, however, he rejected the rumors and reiterated that he would stay in the Congress party and struggle to solve the problems of the public.

It can be mentioned that Feroz Khan is known among a section of Muslims.

Apart from contesting the parliamentary election from Hyderabad, he also contested the election for the MLA seat of the Nampally Assembly constituency.

The previous time, the leader got the news when he planned the ‘chalo secretariat’ program to plan the immediate reconstruction of two mosques that were destroyed during the demolition of the old secretariat complex.

A senior congressman said Feroz Khan had not confirmed the development and said there was no official communication from him on the front. ‘The only purpose in politics here is to defeat MIM for him, which is why he probably left Congress. He thinks he can do it through the BJP, ”the Congress leader told siasat.com.
