Xiaomi has officially announced that it is holding a “Mega Launch” event on March 29 where a new product launch will happen. It is going to be an online event and will be live-streamed on major social media platforms at 19:30 (GMT+8).
Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed the details on this upcoming product but the event is expected to launch the much-rumored Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, and the Mi 11 Ultra phones. All these three phones have been in speculations for a while now and it appears the time has finally come when Xiaomi will take the curtains off.
Rumors say the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has a secondary display as well that is embedded on the back panel inside the same module under which the cameras are housed. The use case of this back display is unclear for now but we will get to know about the same at the launch event itself. The Mi 11 Ultra and even the Pro model are expected to feature 120x hybrid zoom. The key difference between the Pro and the Ultra model is said to be the charging capabilities - 66W vs 120W.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is expected to come with Snapdragon 775G processor and triple cameras on the back are rumored to be a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro units.
We are only a few days away from the said launch event. Let’s wait and see what Xiaomi has in store for all of us.
